Where I’ve Been (and Why the Kitchen’s Been Quiet)

Hey friends — it’s been a minute.

If you’ve been hanging out on YouTube or over on TikTok, you know I haven’t exactly stopped creating… but the blog? Yeah, it’s been sitting on the back burner a bit too long.

The truth is, life got busy in the best kind of way. Between baking, filming, chasing kids, and somehow keeping the house from turning into a powdered sugar crime scene — time to sit down and write just slipped away. And honestly, that’s okay. I’ve been learning that this whole thing — Whisk, Wander & Wonder — doesn’t have to be perfect or polished to be real.

Over the past few months, I’ve shifted focus to YouTube — where full-length bakes, behind-the-scenes chaos, and little family moments all come together. It’s been fun figuring out what this space looks like when it’s more about connection and less about curation.

But I’ve missed this part — slowing down enough to put it all into words. The smells, the small wins, the “oops that still tastes good” kind of days. So I’m bringing the blog back, not as a highlight reel, but as a journal of what’s really happening in the kitchen (and sometimes out wandering the world a bit, too).

If you’re new here, welcome. This is where baking meets real life — crumbs, laughter, and all. Stay tuned for new posts, fall recipes, and a few cozy adventures coming soon.

In the meantime, come hang out with me on YouTube — that’s where the full recipes live these days, and I promise they’re worth the watch.

Thanks for sticking around.

💗 Cayce
