
About the Recipe
Layers of soft vanilla cake, silky no-bake vanilla bean cheesecake, and a buttery white Oreo crust come together for the ultimate indulgence. Ingredients
For the White Oreo Crust
24 White Oreos (Golden Oreos), filling removed and saved
5 Tbsp unsalted butter, melted
For the Vanilla Bean No-Bake Cheesecake Layer
8 oz cream cheese, softened
½ cup granulated sugar
Cream from the Oreos (reserved above)
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
Seeds from 1 whole vanilla bean (or 1 tsp vanilla bean paste)
1 cup heavy whipping cream, cold
For the Vanilla Cake Layer
1 box French Vanilla cake mix (or homemade vanilla cake)
Ingredients called for on the box (usually eggs, oil, water)
Optional Topping
Whipped cream or stabilized whipped frosting
White chocolate shavings or Oreo crumbles for garnish
Preparation
1️⃣ Bake the Vanilla Cake
Prepare the cake batter per package or recipe directions.
Bake one 8-inch round cake layer (or two if you’d like a taller stack) at 350 °F until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
Let cool completely on a rack, then trim the top flat if needed.
2️⃣ Make the Crust
Crush Oreos finely (food processor or zip-bag + rolling pin).
Mix crumbs with melted butter until combined.
Press firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
Chill in the fridge 15 minutes to set.
3️⃣ Make the No-Bake Cheesecake Layer
Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth and fluffy.
Add the saved Oreo cream, vanilla extract, and vanilla bean seeds; beat until combined.
In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream to stiff peaks, then fold gently into the cream cheese mixture until fully incorporated and silky.
4️⃣ Assemble the Layers
Place the cooled vanilla cake layer on top of the Oreo crust inside the springform pan.
Spread the cheesecake filling over the cake layer, smoothing the top evenly.
Cover and chill at least 4 hours (or overnight) to firm up.
5️⃣ Serve & Decorate
Release from the springform pan.
Top with whipped cream, white chocolate shavings, or Oreo crumbles.
Slice with a hot, clean knife for smooth layers.
