These cinnamon roll muffins combine the gooey swirls of a classic cinnamon roll with the soft, fluffy texture of a muffin. Perfectly spiced and drizzled with icing, they’re a sweet treat for breakfast or anytime cravings! Check out our TikTok and YouTube channels for the full video.

Ingredients
For the Muffins:
· 2 cups (250 g) all-purpose flour
· ½ cup (100 g) granulated sugar
· 2 tsp baking powder
· ½ tsp baking soda
· ½ tsp salt
· 1 cup (240 ml) buttermilk (or milk + 1 tsp vinegar/lemon juice)
· ⅓ cup (75 g) unsalted butter, melted
· 2 large eggs
· 2 tsp vanilla extract
For the Cinnamon Swirl:
· ½ cup (100 g) brown sugar, packed
· 2 tsp ground cinnamon
· 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
For the Cream Cheese Glaze:
· 4 oz (115 g) cream cheese, softened
· ½ cup (60 g) powdered sugar
· 2–3 tbsp milk
· ½ tsp vanilla extract
Preparation
Step 1: Prep
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Line a muffin tin with 12 liners.
Step 2: Make Muffin Batter
Whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
In another bowl, mix buttermilk, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla.
Fold wet into dry until just combined.
Step 3: Make Cinnamon Swirl
Mix brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter into a paste.
Step 4: Assemble Muffins
Spoon a little muffin batter into each cup (about 1 tbsp).
Add 1 tsp cinnamon swirl.
Add more batter to fill ¾ full, then swirl a bit of cinnamon mix on top with a toothpick for that marbled look.
Step 5: Bake
Bake 18–22 minutes, until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
Step 6: Glaze
Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
